Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe is a British-Nigerian mixed race child was born into an ethnically diverse family from South London. Her father is Nigerian-Swiss while her mother was English. She was born in an estate in South London council estate and when she was 14she enrolled in The Brit School. At the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art is where she earned an acting BA. At the academy, she appeared in numerous stage productions including the King Henry V as Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe started her acting career through a short film called Storm Damage. In the following years, she appeared on Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's first film of debut is the Woody Allen 2007 movie Cassandra's Dream. She starred with Colin Farrell & Ewan MacGregor. After this success, Madekwe played Elisha in the BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN and was featured in six episodes Trexx and Flipside. Madekwe played Bambi as Bambi in the ITV2 show Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe also starred as the main character on How to lose friends & betray people, which was released by Sony Pictures Entertainment 2008. Performance credits for Madekwe include Little Sweet Thing and Flight Path.
Madekwe was officially introduced to her US debut on The Beautiful Life in 2009. The show ran just two episodes at The CW, and was eventually removed from the air. Ashley Davenport was her role in the ABC drama Revenge. The departure of Madekwe from the show was officially announced in May of 2013. Following two seasons as a main character, she was a guest in the first episode of season three. In the television series Salem the actress played Tituba in 2014 through 2016. Her long-time friend, Iddo, married Madekwe in June 2012. They've worked together in the show Secret Diary of a Call Girl and also had a role alongside her on the show Salem.
Ashley Leggat, an actress nominated twice for a Gemini Award, is a member of an extensive Hamilton family. Ashley Leggat was a part of Roy and Patty as well her older siblings: Brett, Todd and Bram and Rob. Ashley's family, which is all athletes, play in the summer months and play hockey in the winter months. Ashley was never able to walk, but she danced. At the age of two, she started Baby Ballet and fell in with. This was the beginning of Ashley's interest in dance. Ashley competed in ballet, jazz and tap in the high divisions. The big dance events, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance which have awarded her the distinction of "top Soloist".
